Lisa Jane Thomas

With over 20 years experience in the corporate world, Lisa Jane’s background incorporates project management, public relations, promotions, events, marketing, travel and business development. Lisa Jane has worked closely with the most senior levels of management, dealing directly with executives at Chairman and Managing Director level.

Lisa Jane has experience in co-ordinating Australia-wide sponsorship launches, black-tie balls, executive committee conferences and a range of Christmas functions. Her major annual event for MMI Insurance was the Sports Star of the Year Awards, a co-sponsored event run in conjunction with Channel 7 and the Daily Telegraph. Importantly,
Lisa Jane was solely responsible for the research, planning and negotiation of bi-weekly Political Luncheons with high profile Federal Politicians for blue-chip clients.

Lisa Jane  manages the domestic and international travel needs for several clients and has developed strong relationships with Qantas and key industry suppliers, including hotel chains, tour operators and car hire companies.

As PR & Events Manager for MLT Travel & Event Management, Lisa Jane specialised in handling all group travel requirements for Clarins, Austrabelle, Figtree Systems, MMI Insurance, Mini Tankers (Australia) and Matrix Planning Solutions. This professional continues to be the preferred manager  to facilitate sessions using OptionFinder, a US software package providing an anonymous voting technique, to help top players in the food, finance, insurance, liquor, medical and mining industries with their strategic business planning.

In 2001, Lisa Jane was called in to assist George P Johnson (formally Designtroupe) with the IBM Victory 2000 event.   Lisa Jane’s responsibility was to successfully pull together and manage a team to handle the tours and transfer process for the 500 IBM high achievers who travelled to Australia for five days entertainment.  After such a successful effort, Lisa Jane’s services were again called upon by the same group in 2002 to manage the tours and transfers for the IBM Victory 2001 event followed by HP’s ENSA@WORK.  During 2003 GPJ again called on the services of Lisa Jane to work on the KIA Launch and a number of IBM events.  In 2008 GPJ secured Lisa Jane to manage the BT Wrap Roadshow and as recently as this year once again Lisa Jane was secured to manage the Hyundai National Dealer Meeting airport transfers. 

Philips Healthcare contracted Lisa Jane during 2008 to project managing the exhibition component of Philips sponsored events during October/November.
